One Series safety transmitter reportedly is the first SIL 2-certified transmitter designed solely for safety applications, so it doesn’t have to be adapted for safety as traditional process transmitters do. One Series response time is less than 100 milliseconds; it’s available in versions that monitor temperature and pressure; and it provides 4-20 mA, NAMUR-standard output with "I Am Working" diagnostics.
