FactoryTalk AssetCentre software now offers disaster-recovery support for FactoryTalk View Site Edition HMI applications and Stratix 5400, 5700 and 8000 managed Ethernet switches. A custom-device plug-in can be used to automate third-party, device-configuration software to do disaster recovery, backup and compare; lifecycle status information is accessible for many Allen-Bradley I/O modules; and AssetCentre now supports larger systems with better protection of communications between assets with FactoryTalk Linx and IPSec.
