More on Rockwell and Process Automation

I've heard from Rockwell sources that the commitment to the process automation business remains the number one commitment of the company, and that the acquisitions to that end are continuing to do well, and that more information will be forthcoming soon.

As far as prominent departures are concerned, my sources indicate that the leadership of the process activity is intact and going forward full speed.

I'm glad to hear this, on behalf of the end user community, because Rockwell was beginning to be a real force in Process Automation, and the more high quality competition there is, the better it is for every end user, and, frankly, for every automation professional, whether end user or vendor.

As soon as I have more info from Rockwell, I'll post it.
