Breaking News: Schneider Buys Invensys for GBP 3.4 Bn

This just in. U.K. automation vendor Invensys, owner of such well-known brands as Foxboro, Triconex, Wonderware, Eurotherm and SimSci-Esscor, has accepted a £3.4-billion offer from French giant Schneider Electric.  This reporting comes via Readout Signpost newsletter editor  Eoin O’Riain and U.K. process automation magazine, Process Engineering.
