Automation Federation and NIST Partner to Draft Executive Order on Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure
The Automation Federation, a wholly owned subsidiary of ISA, the International Society of Automation, has partnered with NIST, the National Institute for Standards and Technology, and the White House to draft an Executive Order concerning cybersecurity for critical infrastructure
After the Cybersecurity Summit held last week by NIST, the National Institute for Standards and Technology, the Automation Federation, a wholly owned subsidiary of ISA, the International Society of Automation, announced that it and NIST had agreed to work with the White House to draft an Executive Order dealing with cybersecurity for critical infrastructure. This is in response to the fact that the recently issued Executive Order on the subject has been perceived as a little light in the matter of Industrial Control Systems.
