Micrologix controller includes onboard Ethernet web server
March 27, 2007

Rockwell Automation's Allen-Bradley Series B MicroLogix 1100 controllers include an onboard Ethernet Web server with the ability to notify users of production faults via e-mail. The embedded communications port and Web server give users access to control information for real-time data sharing with OEM partners, remote maintenance engineers and personnel throughout the production facility. Users have easy access to basic controller and I/O status information with the embedded, multipurpose text LCD display. For applications using a 12-volt power source, Rockwell Automation has added the MicroLogix 1100 DWD controller to the line. MicroLogix 1100 controller enhancements will be available beginning in March, and the MicroLogix 1100 DWD controller will be available in May.
