ICS Cyber Security is still not mainstream

Aug. 19, 2011
I had a call with the RSA conference organizer and one of the principal speakers on the possibility of a session on control system cyber security at the big RSA Conference. They mentioned they had a track two years ago.  After reviewing the attendance from that track, it was decided that a control system track was not warranted and the “SCADA” papers for this year will be incorporated into other sessions. Looks like there is still a lot of awareness building needed with the mainstream IT community (hopefully before it is too late).
