McLaren Software, a leader in asset information management solutions for owner operators and engineering companies, is showcasing its new McLaren Services for Outlook at the ARC World Industry Forum this week in Orlando.

Due for release in March 2010, McLaren Services for Outlook has been developed in response to customers' requests to extend the reach of their asset document management systems to a wider user community without introducing new client applications.

Organizations benefit from the unobtrusive application of streamlined and consistent business processes, comprehensive audit records and reduced training while retaining full control and integrity of their asset documents and drawings.

Users benefit from being able to manage their assigned tasks and work packs, review, approve engineering documents and drawings without leaving Microsoft Outlook. Built in viewing technology allows the view and mark-up a range of document formats including CAD drawings without the need to launch the native authoring application.

"McLaren Services for Outlook has been developed with input from the McLaren Customer Advisory Board," said Paul Muir, McLaren CEO. "A European life sciences customer will be extending their Enterprise Engineer-based solution to an additional 2,000 users adding significant value and integrity to their operations."
