First ever podcast interview with Norm Gilsdorf, CEO of Honeywell Process Solutions

March 27, 2009

I've just finished the rough edit on my recorded interview with Norm Gilsdorf, the new CEO of Honeywell Process Solutions.

It's a pretty far ranging interview, and it will be available as a podcast sometime next week on www.controlglobal.com.

I've just finished the rough edit on my recorded interview with Norm Gilsdorf, the new CEO of Honeywell Process Solutions.

It's a pretty far ranging interview, and it will be available as a podcast sometime next week on www.controlglobal.com.

In the interview, I asked Gilsdorf what he saw as his biggest challenges coming into the top job, especially in light of the economic situation, and whether, since he lives in Europe, he'd be bringing a different viewpoint to Honeywell management. I asked him what Honeywell was doing to weather the economic storm, and what they were doing to help HPS customers. I also asked him if Honeywell was going to go shopping for acquisitions, since there are some very tasty ones out there, and then I asked him to tell me what one single thing he would tell all his customers, and the one single thing he would tell all his Honeywell colleagues.

I think you'll all find the podcast interesting.
