Often, at ARC, I hear where friends and acquaintances have gone or that they've changed companies or positions.
Some of the notables this week: Mike Bradley, formerly CEO of Wonderware, joining Apprion as CEO, Christine Lesher leaving Citect for Siemens, and Bob Hausler leaving ABB, and the automation industry entirely, for Arsenault Associates and truck maintenance scheduling. The other significant notable, Ken Brown, formerly President of Invensys Process Systems, is now CEO of Dynisco, a Roper Industries subsidiary.
Now, since I am supposed to focus on informing and being the voice of the end user, why do I post stuff like this?
Well, the fact is, my rolodex (my, what an archaic term, eh?) is one of the things I use to do that. If I didn't know lots of these folks, I could not be as informed as I am, and I could not then transfer that knowledge and the opinions and insights that knowledge give me, to to the end users.
