From an ABB press release Ken Graber sent out:  Even though a car accident knocked out a local transformer, and power, at the Valley Forge Convention Center here for nearly an hour, the ABB Low Voltage Products Roadshow kept right on going this past Thursday. This was great for the nearly 500 industrial automation products personnel in attendance - a record turnout for the ABB "Results-Driven Power Control" Show, which is traveling to five key regional markets this year. The more that 250 customers and prospects crowding into the venue on Customer Day filled up the technical workshops held throughout the day. These workshops offer "must-know" expertise on a host of automation-related information, ranging from UL and NEC standards, to harmonic mitigation in industrial environments, to sizing motors correctly to drives, to a profile of motor types, and PLC installations and efficient, energy saving control panel designs. "The workshop-session leaders were troopers, as the power went out, and all the rooms went to low levels of emergency lighting," said Steven Jones, the show coordinator, and employee at ABB's Low Voltage & Products Local Business Unit. "They never broke stride; simply described the slides they were seeing via battery power on their laptops, and kept right on presenting in real time. Attendees never left the rooms, and they kept asking questions!"
