With the ever increasing number of readers from outside North America, we've been looking for ways to improve our ability to serve those readers, and yet retain the tight control over quality of article and resource that Control and ControlGlobal.com is famous for. Our new Digital Managing Editor, Katherine Bonfante, is bilingual in English and Spanish, and has worked as a professional editor on both English- and Spanish-language magazines and websites. So, when we were producing the latest crop of Control Automation Minutes for ControlGlobal.com, I asked her to do one in both English and Spanish. Here it is, in Spanish, and here it is in English. It is another baby-step toward the complete globalization of ControlGlobal.com, but it is another in the line of steps I have taken since re-organizing the website three years ago, and re-naming it. We'll be doing more of this. From being the first with a multimedia channel (the Process Automation Media Network) to becoming bilingual in our main website, we aim to continue to push the envelope of coverage of automation issues we started 20 years ago as Control magazine.
