SICK Inc. receives PRCI In-Kind Support Award

The Pipeline Research Council International (PRCI), the leading body in pipeline research, awarded SICK Inc. the In-Kind Support Award. SICK received the award as a result of its contributions to furthering PRCI research programs. 

Companies that earn the In-Kind Support Award go above and beyond the expectations of member company participation by providing data and information, equipment, or allowing access to private operations for field and data collection. 

SICK earned the In-Kind Support Award for the following contributions in the process automation industry: 

  • SICK technology has enabled companies throughout the United States to compete in their respective industries without sacrificing safety or efficiency. 
  • Sensors are being utilized in the maritime, mining, export LNG, and many other industries. 
  • Emissions monitoring and measurement technology has revolutionized the depth of data available for study. 
  • SICK's gas flow measurement technology has combined flexible measuring methods and durable equipment design with cost-efficient connection concepts to integrate higher-level systems 

SICK is thankful for earning the In-Kind Support Award and looks forward to continuing its commitment to improving technological standards for companies throughout the country, according to a statement.
