Beamex establishes $10,000 instrumentation scholarship

Scholarship is funded by proceeds from the 2022 Beamex Annual Calibration Exchange

BeamexĀ reported Sept. 28 that it’s created a perpetual, needs-based $10,000 scholarship for a student studying instrumentation in the applied science program at the LyondellBasell Center for Petrochemical, Energy, & Technology at San Jacinto College. The scholarship is funded by proceeds from the 2022 Beamex Annual Calibration Exchange (ACE).

ā€œBeamex is delighted to give back to future automation professionals,ā€ explains Greg Sumners, president for North America Beamex.

This year’s 12th annual Beamex ACE was hosted at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston on Sept. 28-29.Ā  This two-day event featured industrial automation sessions on power and energy, pharmaceuticals and water/wastewater.
