DigiKey reported May 7 that it’s sponsoring the EW Project Challenge 2024 by ElectronicWings. The contest encourages engineers, makers and hardware developers to build projects that bring improvement, enhance efficiency and positively impact society by solving problems.
Participants may submit multiple entries, and each project is considered an individual entry. The challenge runs through Aug. 5, and winners will be announced on Aug. 13.
“DigiKey is excited to sponsor the EW Project Challenge, an opportunity for all engineers to showcase their innovative, trailblazing designs,” says Y.C. Wang, global academic program director at DigiKey. “We’re committed to enabling hobbyists and students worldwide with their innovative, next-generation solutions.”
A jury panel will select the top three projects for cash prizes worth 200,000 rupees. The contest’s first-place winner will receive 100,000 rupees, second place will receive 60,000 rupees, and third place will receive 40,000 rupees. The top 15 projects will each receive a “creative project prize” of 10,000. The first 50 project submissions will also receive a prize pack.
