The International Society of Automation and the Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) agreed Jan. 20 to provide a web-based project management course for system integrators.
"Project Management for Automation and Control System Integration" (MT08W) will be taught live online by an ISA expert during four sessions spread over two consecutive weeks. The course will cover all aspects of project management phases, functions, responsibilities, techniques and tools. The course will debut in March with four-hour sessions taught on March 8, 10, 15 and 17. Another offering is planned for fall 2016. Description and registration information is at ISA's website.
CSIA conference set for April 19-22
In other news, CSIA will hold its 2016 Executive Conference on April 19-22 in Puerto Rico. Overall, the conference will include more than 13 educational sessions.
Close to 500 individuals and 100 system integrators, partners and guests attended last year's event, which means 2016's attendees will have multiple opportunities for networking, including the annual industry expo, awards banquet and closing reception.
