Reversible, low-voltage, PWM, DC motor controller
65E pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller for 12-V through 48-V battery powered equipment is rated for 10-20 amps continuous current, and features adjustable maximum speed, minimum speed, current limit, internal resistance (IR) compensation and acceleration, plus a quiet operating frequency of 18kHz. Compact and efficient, it’s reported to be ideal for portable equipment and solar-powered applications.
Beyond its reversing option, 65E’s updated design includes 12-48 VDC operating range in the same controller (jumper selected), supply-voltage and current-limit status LEDs, and current-limit shutdown and output. Surface-mount technology (SMT) design and advanced circuitry minimizes voltage drops up to +60% less voltage drop.
It’s available in open chassis and NEMA 4X enclosed models, and is reduction of hazardous substances (RoHS) compliant. Optional under-voltage lockout protects the battery against deep-cycle discharges. Inhibit Input feature provides a low-power method of shutting down the motor.
