ISA launches ISA100 Wireless Compliance Institute

"We have decided to launch what we're calling the development phase of the compliance institute," said ISA's Chip Lee. The ISA100 Wireless Compliance institute will facilitate the development of and compliance with ISA100.11a. This will run in parallel with the development of the standard itself, and create a test specification and test points for insertion into the standard. Shell Global Solutions and Honeywell are the first members. As the news was announced, a member of the committee said, "Well, Emerson, Exxon and Chevron will have to join just to keep it honest."
