The largest Industrial IoT virtual event in the world is IIOTWorldDay, June 30-July 1, 2020:
https://lnkd.in/dhYeVfJ
Wednesday, July 1st from 4:15pm-5:10EDT, I will be moderating a session on Industry4.0 and Cybersecurity - What is Industry4.0 and what does it mean to cyber security?
Industrial and Manufacturing organizations have been connecting systems for more than 20 years. Unfortunately, engineers are not good marketers and never came up with the buzzword – Industry4.0. From a cyber security perspective, what is Industry4.0 and what makes it different? We will have a diverse panel to discuss various cyber aspects of Industry4.0 including threats, control system issues, training, and application of IT concepts. I will prove an introduction and then have each of the panelists address the questions that are in their area of expertise.
- What are the new cyber threats introduced by Industry4.0? (Charles Brooks from Cybersecurity Collaborative)
- What are the cyber security-specific technical issues associated with Industry4.0? How does a 100% trust system interface with a zero-trust cyber environment? (Bryan Skene from Tempered Networks)
- What are the cyber security-specific training and education issues associated with Industry4.0? (Pamela Gupta from Outsecure.com)
- What is the impact of cloud-based architecture and web application development on IoT/Control systems used in Industry4.0? (Dmitri Sotnikov from 42Crunch)
I hope you will find the session of interest and ask questions.
