ISA releases new book on electronic security for manufacturing and control systems

Sep 26, 2005

ISA HAS announced the release of Electronic Security for Manufacturing and Control Systems: An Overview by Robert Webb. Through a series of PowerPoint slides, this resource provides an overview of electronic security techniques and standard status for the manufacturing and control systems environment.

Based on the author's experience with ISA's SP-99 committee, this resource serves as a tool for self-study and in obtaining familiarity with electronic security systems as applied in an industrial setting.

This overview introduces the security concepts outlined in ISA's two best-selling technical reports, ANSI/ISA-TR99.00.01-2004 and ANSI/ISA-99.00.02-2004, condensing information for ready access by both practitioners in the field and management.
