Last week, IIC members EMC and the Cork Institute of Technology announced the INFINITE Testbed at an event in Dublin. The INFINTE testbed develops software-defined infrastructures to drive the growth of Industrial Internet products and services. INFINITE uses Big Data to create completely virtual domains with Software-Defined Networking, and makes it possible for multiple virtual domains to securely run via one physical network and enables mobile network connectivity to these virtual domains through mobile networks, making it ideal for mission-critical systems.
