Now, I understand that many of us have travel restrictions in place this year because of the economy, but if you can make this conference, I strongly urge you to. Carl gets some significant brainpower from the processing industries all in the same room three or four times a year, and has been doing it for nearly a decade now.

On April 16th, PlantSuccess celebrates its 8th annual conference at the Hilton Houston NASA Clear Lake with another roster of outstanding speakers and a continuation of a focus on Energy and Leadership. After a highly decorated career in the US Air Force, Lt Gen Kenneth Eickmann (retired), continues to serve his country as an advisor and member of the Air Force Science and Technology Board, numerous other investigative activities and is a Senior Research Fellow at the Energy Institute of The University of Texas at Austin.
 
As the latest addition to our outstanding roster of keynote speakers, Ken is the leader of the upcoming PlantSuccess. The conference theme is Best Practices Driving Plant Performance. Ken’s keynote address is: Energy Leadership … A Personal Commitment to Action and he will lead our popular Executive Leadership Forum with panelists: William Harrison, Technical Advisor for Fuels and Energy, Air Force Research Labs and two previous keynoters – Hermann Ortega, Vice President of the Integrated Supply Chain, Honeywell Specialty Materials and Michael White, Senior Vice President of Operations and Engineering, SunCoke Energy Inc
