Two box thin clients with secure firmware

March 1, 2023

BTC12 and BTC14 are two, compact, industrial box thin clients with preloaded VisuNet RM Shell 5 firmware for industrial-grade security and stability in harsh environments. They employ Intel Apollo Lake and AMD Ryzen processors that support modern operator workstation setups with up to four monitors. RM Shell 5 embedded operating system has a simplified, touchscreen-optimized user interface, advanced security features and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSB.

Both BTC12 and BTC14 are built on an aluminum chassis with a fanless design, have a safe operating range of 20 °C to 60 °C, and no internal moving parts. These shock- and vibration-resistant thin clients weigh less than five pounds, and can be easily mounted to a wall, inside a cabinet, or operate on a desktop. BTC12 has two DisplayPort connections for dual video output, supporting 4K (Ultra HD) resolution at 60 Hz. BTC14 has four DisplayPort connections for quad video applications. Both thin clients also support D++, which connects to an HDMI monitor via a passive DP-to-HDMI cable, and use Multi-Stream Transport protocol that daisy chains multiple monitors to one display port.
