Compact, combined PLC and HMI with multi-touch display
FT1J is a conveniently-sized, industrially-tough, 4.3-inch, multi-touch display combined with an integrated, full-function controller and onboard, expandable I/O, which makes it ideal for visualizing and automating devices. Installation is simplified because the PLC and HMI are internally connected, share the same network connection, require only one power supply and consumes less power than a separate PLC and HMI.
FTJ1’s integrated PLC and HMI each have their own dedicated CPU and user memory for optimized scan time performance, and they communicate natively with each other. Built-in I/O includes eight points of DC inputs that are configurable as all discrete, or six discrete and two analog 0-10 VDC or 4-20 mA 12-bit. It’s suitable for a range of applications and locations thanks to ratings for extreme temperatures from -20 ˚C to 55 ˚C, IP66 and IP67 for wash-down areas, IP66F and IP67F for oil resistance, as well as UL60101, UL Type 4X/12/13, and Class I Div 2.
All of FTJ1’s PLC and HMI configuring is accessed through the supplier’s standard WindOI-NV4 software that has a drag-and-drop interface and image library. Script programming, PIDD loop control, pulse width modulation (PWM) control, multilingual capabilities, security, trend charts, data logs, alarm logs, and other functions and features are supported for the HMI and the PLC. Users only need to keep track of one program file as it supports both the PLC and HMI.
