Controller can live in a SLC-500 rack and talk to 1,747 I/O modules

March 14, 2025

A new version of the NeoPAC controller can reside in a SLC-500 rack and communicate with 1,747 I/O modules. Its CPU has Ethernet, two USB ports, and two ports for DH+ and Allen-Bradley RIO, and all user-configurable for popular protocols. Existing SLC-500 application programs and documentation can be imported with a utility included with NeoPAC’s programming software. Users can upgrade their SLC-500 systems to a modern CPU without losing the existing investments in I/O wiring, engineering and spare parts, and they can do with little to no downtime.
