On May 21, Honeywell Process Solutions unveiled their new, midsize DCS, the Experion LX, in Indonesia. According to an article written by Control media partner Bob Gill in ceasiamag.com, Honeywell's new system is targeted at small to medium sized plants with less than 5000 i/o. Indonesia was selected, the article says, because Indonesia is Southeast Asia's largest economy, with many potential opportunities for the new Experion system.
