Belden's Industrial Ethernet Infrastructure Design Seminar Gets Record Attendance

Belden's 2012 Industrial Ethernet Infrastructure Design Seminar held in Wheeling, IL, had a record attendance of 150 engineers, system integrators and partners. The seminar included lectures and hands-on workshops on Ethernet cabling, industrial Ethernet infrastructure and much more.

Belden's 2012 Industrial Ethernet Infrastructure Design Seminar held in Wheeling, IL, had a record attendance of 150 engineers, system integrators and partners. The seminar included lectures and hands-on workshops on Ethernet cabling, industrial Ethernet infrastructure and much more.

John Stroup, president and CEO of Belden said in his keynote speech that Belden has been listening to their customers. "We are moving forward in four areas to meet their needs. These areas include providing end-to-end solutions, expanding our customer service, developing innovative products and delivering operational excellence."

Belden's mission is to provide end-to-end networking solutions using all of its industrial brands: Belden, GarrettCom, Hirschmann, Lumberg Automation, Poliron and Tofino. Steve Biegacki, Belden's senior vice president sales and marketing said that they started a series of workshops that provide step-by-step network design best practices. Additionally, Belden is introducing a new Network Certification program for Integrators and Installers.

Belden's seminar teach controls engineers the fundamentals of Ethernet networking and best practices for network security deployment, at the same time, these seminars create an environment for all industry professionals to learn how to meet the demands of continuously operating industrial networks.

Next year's seminar is scheduled for October and it will be held in Philadelphia.
