May 3, 2010, MADISON, Wis. – The Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) announced winners of three awards at its 2010 Executive Conference held last week in Seattle.
CSIA Announces Award Winners May 3, 2010, MADISON, Wis. – The Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) announced winners of three awards at its 2010 Executive Conference held last week in Seattle.Bill Pollock, founder, president, and CEO of Optimation Technology, Inc., Rush, N.Y., was awarded the Charlie Bergman Award.  The award is named for CSIA founder Charlie Bergman and recognizes an individual member for outstanding and length of service to the organization through leadership, education, mentoring and advancement of CSIA’s goals. Pollock, recognized as a leader in the industry, is a founding member of CSIA, has served on the Executive Council, chaired the statistics committee, and presented multiple times at CSIA Executive Conferences.Michael Bachelor, a principal at Bachelor Controls, Sabetha, Kan., was named CSIA Rising Star, an award that recognizes young professionals who have demonstrated a commitment to the profession and exhibited leadership potential. Bachelor has worked for several years to promote the principles of CSIA to clients in the industry and to the team at Bachelor Controls.Invensys/Wonderware, Johnson City, Tenn., received the Partner of the Year Award.  The award recognizes a company that has significantly contributed to the betterment of CSIA and its members and promoted CSIA certification. The dedicated involvement by Invensys/Wonderware has aided in the growth and strength of the organization.The awards were presented Saturday, May 1, at the final banquet of the 2010 CSIA Executive Conference held in Seattle.
