PAS' Eddie Habibi comments on Invensys Skelta Acquisition #pauto

PAS has a well-publicized relationship with both Honeywell and Invensys, the latter cemented by the new President of PAS, former Invensys official Chris Lyden. PAS as we have reported before, has an interesting take on workflow management and documentation called "The Automation Genome."

One of the first questions that came to me in yesterday's press conference was, what does this aquisition (of Skelta Software) do to the relationship that Invensys has with PAS.

One of the first questions that came to me in yesterday's press conference was, what does this aquisition (of Skelta Software) do to the relationship that Invensys has with PAS.

So, during the press conference, I asked Eddie Habibi, founder and Chairman of PAS for his comments, and he responded:

"Walt, our relationship with IOM is growing stronger every day. We see significant synergies with their portfolio, their global reach and their vision for the future of automation. We see the acquisition of Skelta as a positive development in our relationship with IOM. It is indicative of their commitment to continuestrengthening their portfolio around work process management, plant safety and productivity enhancement solutions. Skelta's BPM solution nicely complements our Integrity Automation Genome offering."
