Dammit, stop calling it SCADA!!

Brian Isle, of Adventium Labs, chair of the "SCADA Cyber Self-Assessment Working Group" acronymed SCySAG, noted that they use "SCADA" "as shorthand for any type of SCADA or process control system." This of course drives me nuts. SCADA is NOT process control and vice versa. But with all the government and IT consultants abusing the term, I guess it is too bloody late to stop it.
