It is with pleasure that I announce the appointment of Darren Trumeter to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) effective immediately. The role is responsible for the achievement of short and long term financial and operational goals across all geographies. The Geography Managers, Director Global Key Accounts, and Director Partner Programs will now report in to Darren who will report directly to Rick Webb. A key part of our strategy is to continue growing our business by increasing the number of geographies in which we go direct while continuing to maintain strong channels in indirect markets. The COO role is essential to ensure consistency, improve effectiveness and efficiency, and ensure we are able to support growth and achieve our objectives. Darren Trumeter has many years experience in sales and management in the technology sector ranging from large multinationals like SAP to his own start-up company. Darren joined Citect in July 2003 to head up the Americas Geography. Over the past two and a half years he has demonstrated significant drive and leadership in working with his team to achieve impressive results for the Americas. Darren will continue to be based in Atlanta and will travel regularly to each of the geographies. Recruitment for a replacement head of Americas will commence immediately and in the interim Darren will continue to be responsible for the role. Regards, Andrea Bidwell This is a very effective move for Citect, especially with the Schneider deal not quite final. Darren is an excellent manager and understands the MES and SCADA businesses that Citect does so well. Walt
