Process Sensing Technologies (PST) reported Nov. 8 that it’s acquired Fluid Components International (FCI), which manufactures thermal mass flowmeters and switches. Based in San Marcos, Calif., FCI has mor than 200 employees, and is led by president Randy Brown.
PST reports this acquisition is its first venture into the flowmeter sector, but it’s complementary to its existing capabilities, and will let it expand its product range and measurement capabilities by leveraging FCI’s reputation for performance, quality and customer service.
“Acquiring FCI is a pivotal move for PST into the flow measurement domain. Their impressive organization and unique flow measurement technology will amplify our reach to both the new and existing customers,” says Adam Markin, CEO of PST. “We’re excited to have Randy and the FCI team join PST.”
