Aveva announced Apr. 8 that it’s been selected to build a comprehensive, operations data management infrastructure for Archaea Energy, which is reported to be the largest renewable natural gas (RNG) producer in the U.S.
Archaea will use Aveva’s software to collect, enrich and visualize its real-time operations data, enabling performance analysis across its growing network of plants. For example, they’ll employ PI Data Infrastructure, a hybrid solution with cloud data services, to share data, highlight operational opportunities, and optimize efficiency.
"As the largest RNG producer in the U.S., we’re dedicated to delivering reliable, clean energy," adds Starlee Sykes, CEO at Archaea. "This relationship will allow us to optimize operations, and offer detailed performance analysis as we expand across the country."
Caspar Herzberg, CEO at Aveva, adds, “Through this collaboration, and by using Aveva PI Data Infrastructure, Archaea’s growing network of plants will have streamlined operations with accurate performance analysis throughout their expansion. Likewise, our Connect software platform leverages industrial intelligence from a central location, making it easier to deploy additional digital solutions in the future.”
