Analytical measurement, analysis and automation supplier Analytik Jena GmbH+Co. KG reported Aug. 20 that it’s launched Analytik Jena Brasil Ltda. to serve Brazil and Latin America’s markets. The new subsidiary is located at Endress+Hauser’s campus in Itatiba, São Paulo state, where Analytik Jena plans to sharpened its focus is on closer, more direct cooperation with customers and sales partners..
“This is our first subsidiary in Latin America and a milestone that will shape Analytik Jena’s future,” says Oliver Klaeffling, managing director of the Analytik Jena Group. “By going direct, we’ll be in a much better position to deliver on our mission to empower our customers to push the boundaries of science and efficiency by providing not only first-class products but even better application support and service.”
Julio Mattos, managing director at Analytik Jena Brazil, adds that, “I’m very pleased we can contribute directly to Analytik Jena’s ambitious growth targets in Latin American, and I’m very much looking forward to working with this highly motivated team.”
Analytik Jena sees great potential to focus on Brazil and Lain America’s chemical analysis market, such as oil and gas or wastewater applications. It adds there are also excellent opportunities in the life sciences, food and agriculture and pharmaceutical industry, as well as in academia and research. The company adds it already has an installed base in Brazil of more than 500 instruments.
