Audubon Companies LLC, a subsidiary of Nobel Energy, reported Mar. 11 that it’s acquired Alliance Engineering, an engineering and construction management firm in Mobile, Ala., with regional offices across the southeast U.S. It provides mechanical, electrical, structural, piping and process engineering, as well as project and construction management services.

This acquisition is reported to strengthen Audubon’s presence beyond its traditional energy-focused work, adding established capabilities and client relationships in manufacturing, food and beverage, pulp and paper, specialty chemical and other industrial sectors. Audubon adds that Alliance’s multi-discipline engineering expertise and regional footprint complement its integrated, project-delivery model, and support its continued growth across a broader range of markets.

“This acquisition is an important step in our strategy of thoughtfully diversifying the markets, customers and geographies we serve,” says David Robison, CEO of Audubon. “Alliance Engineering brings deep industrial expertise and a proven track record in sectors that align with our long-term growth objectives. Together, we’re expanding our ability to support clients across a wider spectrum of industries, while continuing to deliver the quality, responsiveness and technical excellence Audubon is known for.”

Under the terms of the acquisition, Alliance’s engineering team will join Audubon’s integrated service platform, operating as part of Audubon’s engineering and project delivery organization. Leadership and key staff from Alliance will continue in their roles, ensuring continuity of service and ongoing client relationships.

“Becoming part of Audubon allows us to build on our industrial foundation and access new resources that support our clients’ evolving needs,” adds Todd Davidson, founder of Alliance Engineering. “This partnership creates growth opportunities for our team, and expands the markets we can serve, while preserving the client-focused culture that defines Alliance.”
