Digi International reported Feb. 25 that it’s launched a model context protocol (MCP) server for its Digi Remote Manager (DRM) and Genesis network management platform. This MCP lets users securely integrate large language model (LLM) products such as Claude and other enterprise AI assistants directly with DRM and Genesis, transforming how organizations monitor, manage optimize and scale their connected infrastructure and wireless wide area network (WWAN) deployments.
This MCP server lets DRM and Genesis users employ natural-language interfaces to query device fleets, automate workflows, generate configuration insights, and streamline troubleshooting. By bridging enterprise AI tools with Digi’s secure device management, users can accelerate operational efficiency, reduce complexity, and empower teams with intelligent, context-aware insights across their networks. It also has enterprise-grade security and governance controls to ensure data protection and responsible AI integration.
“Digi has always focused on making connectivity and device management more intelligent, scalable, and secure,” says Ron Konezny, president and CEO of Digi International. “By launching our MCP server for DRM and Genesis, we’re giving customers a powerful, new way to interact with their connected environments using AI tools they already trust, unlock faster decisions, streamline operations, and achieve new levels of automation.”
