Burlington, Ont. – Ivara Corporation has announced that Allegheny Energy Inc., an electric utility headquartered in Greensburg, Pa., selected Ivara EXP Enterprise software to prevent equipment failure, lower costs and improve operational performance.
Allegheny Energy is an investor-owned electric utility that owns and operates generating facilities and delivers low-cost, reliable electric service to over 1.5 million customers in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland and Virginia. The company will implement Ivara EXP Enterprise software at its Harrison Power Plant in West Virginia to create technically validated equipment reliability programs that support a proactive process for asset care. Allegheny Energy expects to expand this initiative with the remainder of the generation fleet following the implementation at the Harrison Power Plant.
