AC micro-drives with embedded, dual-port Ethernet
GA501 industrial AC micro-drives with embedded, dual-port Ethernet supports all major Ethernet protocols, eliminates the need for added hardware, reduces installation time, and simplifies system designs. It integrates seamlessly into networks via EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP, EtherCAT, BACnet/IP or Mechtrolink-4. Users can pick one of the six onboard network protocols with a simple DIP switch.
It has standard DIN-rail mounting for up to 7.5 HP, spring-tension I/O terminals, and an IP20/open type enclosure. Its DriveWizard mobile application lets users program a unit without power applied. With power applied, its LED status ring and network status LEDs display drive status at a glance.
GA501 is available in three types: 240 VAC single-phase with 1/6 to 5 HP; 240 VAC three-phase with 1/6 to 30 HP; and 480 VAC three-phase with 1/2 to 40 HP. Motor operation up to 40 HP includes induction (IM), permanent magnet (PM) and synchronous reluctance (SynRM).
