Portable, hybrid, ultrasonic flowmeter clamps onto pipes
Dynasonics DXN-5P portable, hybrid, ultrasonic flowmeter streamlines process diagnostics by clamping onto the outside of pipes for easy installation. It can handle a variety of pipe sizes and conditions, including:
- ½ in. to 48 in. size range,
- -40 °F to 250 °F temperatures,
- 0.7 to 33,000 gpm flow range, and
- ± 0.5% ± 0.025 ft/s (0.008 m/s) accuracy.
Dynasonics DXN-5P assists with diagnosing equipment issues by delivering temporary flow readings, and identifying air pockets or sediment that can damage equipment over time. It automatically switches between transit time and Doppler based on fluid conditions to further optimize systems and reduce energy costs.
