To help process applications migrate to digital networking, Hipro-S V2 safety protocol enables Ethernet-based, safety-related communication (SIL 3) with UDP packets. It safely communicates between Hima’s three safety controller families—HIMatrix, HIMax and HIQuad. HIPRO-S V2 doesn’t need a separate certificate because it’s a component of HIQuad, HIMax and HIMatrix controllers.
