ST80 flowmeters now can use patent-pending adaptive sensing technology (AST) combining both constant power (CP) and constant temperature (CT) thermal dispersion. With AST, the flowmeters measure in CT during startup and at lower flow ranges, then shift to CP mode at mid-range and higher flow rates. The result is fast response with extended measuring ranges, at low power consumption to maximize sensor reliability and reduce instrument energy expenses. A choice of four flow sensor element designs include the company's new wet gas solution.
