Four decades of innovation with VTScada

Trihedral Engineering celebrated the 40th anniversary of its VTScada platform in late March 2026 in Orlando, Florida. At the company's ScadaFest conference, attendees revisited the software's first installation in Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island, Canada.

Control's Keith Larson was in attendance at the event, where he heard Trihedral president Glenn Wadden give the keynote address about the Charlottetown installation. Additionally, Wadden hinted at what advances the technology holds in the future.

“We’ll be deactivating the activation servers to make you more productive, event at the risk of unauthorized use,” Wadden said.
