How Are Package Manufacturers Being More Efficient?

In the article, "Control System Upgrade by Package Manufacturer Significantly Raises Productivity While Substantially Reducing Costs," published in the January/February 2013 issue of InTech magazine, Michael Gurney illustrates how a package manufacturer increased productivity, boosted ease of use, and reduced maintenance costs through a control systems upgrade. In all, the upgraded system provides 25% higher throughput while decreasing the number of wasted containers by approximately 80%.

Before making a commitment, manufacturers must determine if they can meet their needs using existing equipment with a simple, more cost-effective control system upgrade.
