RPS-429AA-80P-IS2 intrinsically safe (IS), ultrasonic sensor achieves precise distance and level measurements and object detections in explosive atmospheres and hazardous areas. It features IS certifications including thorough testing and approvals for Zone 0, 1, 2, 20, 21, or 22 explosive atmospheres (ATEX and IECEx) and Class I, II, III hazardous locations (C-UL-US).
RPS-429AA-80P-IS2 has an IP66/IP67-rated enclosure that protects it from dust, moisture and washdown exposure in demanding industrial environments, such as oil and gas, mining and chemical processing. It also features a user-friendly interface with a 4-20 mA, two-wire, current-loop design.
