OMX 333iUNI isolated, universal input signal conditioner is control-programmable, and can be configured to use one of 10 input types including DC voltage, current, RTDs, thermocouples (T/C) and potentiometers. It also provides sensor excitation of 24 VDC at 1A isolated. Each type has multiple ranges, while cold junction compensation (CJC) is provided for T/Cs.

Output options are analog and RS 485 with ASCII and Modbus RTU protocols. Up to two optional relays are available. Users can select several current and voltage ranges for the analog output. OMX 333iUNI can be used as a simple signal conditioner, or up to a basic programmable microcontroller. It’s also DIN rail mountable.

Key specifications include accuracy to ±0.05% of full scale, depending on input type, settable measurement rate from 1 to 400 per second, and galvanic isolation of 2.5 kVAC. Its core includes a 32-bit microprocessor, 24-bit ADC and 16-bit DAC.

OMX 333iUNI’s programmable functions include linearization, tare, min/max values, math functions and a simulation mode in which range, value and duration of steps can be set. Filters can also be set, and include floating average, exponential average and arithmetic average as well as rounding. A teach-in function lets users optimize accuracy over a specified input range. Settings are retained in EEPROM read-only memory when power is removed.

OMX 333iUNI’s external controls include hold, key lockout, tare activation and reset, min/max reset, sample for a one-time measurement and safety relay control. Free OMLink software enables these I/O units to be easily configured from a user’s PC by selecting settings and uploading settings files saved to the device. DIP switches are also incorporated for settings.
