Wireless, LoRaWAN sensors for environmental monitoring

Aug. 9, 2024

EVA-2000 wireless sensors use long-range, wide area networking (LoRaWAN) for long-range data transmission. They combine power efficiency, and include sensor models that detect and measure temperature, humidity and water leaks. They’re also seamlessly compatible with Advantech’s Wise-6610, LoRaWAN gateway, allowing easy, remote creation, synchronization of channel settings, and data rate adjustments. Once connected, settings such as data update cycles and thresholds can be configured via downlink commands from Wise-6610, further streamlining monitoring and management.

EVA-2000 also has low power consumption from two 3.6 V Li-ion batteries. Each unit also has a built-in, embedded antenna in a compact design that aids flexible installation. The series includes:

  • EVA-2210 three-phase current meter with 3 x 75 A clamp-on CT that’s adept at measuring equipment currents up to 75A.
  • EVA-2310 sensor for monitoring temperature and humidity.
  • EVA-2311 includes a PT1000 round-head heat probe sensor with a 2-meter cable and IP67 rating, making it suitable for temperature detection from -70 °C to 200 °C.
  • EVA-2510 water-leak sensor for cooling and water treatment systems.
