6000 Series electronic processing control unit (EPCU) features two enclosure contacts rated up to 12 A per contact. This increased capacity allows the control unit to switch enclosure power directly within the system for a broader range of applications. As a result, higher-load applications, such as gas analyzer systems or enclosures with integrated heating, can often be implemented at reduced cost because they don’t need additional Ex-rated contactors or breakers. Also, by integrating switching function directly into the control unit, 6000 Series’ system architecture is simplified, which reduces installation effort and supports more compact enclosure designs.
