Yesterday was "product day" and most of the presentations were by Honeywell personnel. Today it was the turn of users in specific industries to present over 60 concurrent paper sessions on subjects separated by industry vertical. In the Hydrocarbon Processing vertical segment, for example, you could listen to papers on implementation of blending projects, a DCS maintenance methodology, how to migrate to Experion PKS (by an end user from Petrobras). Today it was the turn of users in specific industries to present over 60 concurrent paper sessions on subjects separated by industry vertical. In the Hydrocarbon Processing vertical segment, for example, you could listen to papers on implementation of blending projects, a DCS maintenance methodology, how to migrate to Experion PKS (by an end user from Petrobras). In the Mining, Metals and Minerals segment, there were papers on event detection, automated metallurgical balancing (an MES application) and Multivariable Predictive Control. And on, and on, and on. A CD with the papers will be available after the event, according to Erik Rasmussen, of Honeywell.
