'Reliability Program of the Year' Finalists Share Best Practices

In a pair of Technology Forum sessions (TF-2595) on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, Emerson Process Management had four customer finalists competing for the title of "Reliability Program of the Year" at this year's Exchange. The companies competing for this year's honors include the Celanese facility in Narrows, Virginia.; Consolidated Edison's 59th St. plant in New York City; LyondellBassell in Channelview, Texas; and Praxair in The Woodlands, Texas.

Each customer presented its company reliability program, demonstrating the effective use of reliability-based technologies, effective work processes, return on investment, integrated maintenance best practices and leadership in implementing a "best in class" reliability program. The presentations took place in Sun D, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, and 1:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday. At the culmination of Wednesday's session, the "Reliability Program of the Year" was named and received a trophy.
