Wil Chin leads the field device consulting team at ARC covering process measurement technologies. He is responsible for pressure flow, level, temperature and related markets. Wil also covers field device communication protocols, plant asset management (PAM), wireless devices and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).Ā Ā
Wil's focus areas include Process Measurement Technologies, Plant Asset Management, Field Systems (Flow, Level Pressure, and Temperature), Wireless Field Devices, Field Device Communication Protocols, Inventory, Tank Management, Blending Systems, and Laboratory Information Management Systems.
Wil has nearly 30 years experience in the areas of sales management, product marketing, and engineering experience in industrial field instruments that utilize a vast array of technologies including magnetic, coriolis, radar, capacitance, vortex, vibration, DP and ultrasonic.

Will has been with ARC since 1999. Prior to ARC, Wil spent 10 years at Krohne Inc. of Peabody, MA, where he held the position of Vice President of Sales.Ā He was responsible for the sales of flow and level instrumentation in North America as well as developing business alliances with suppliers and users.Ā At Krohne, he also held positions where he provided strategic product planning and technical support for Magnetic, Coriolis, Variable Area, and Ultrasonic flowmeters.Ā Prior to that, Wil spent 10 years at The Foxboro Company where he held positions of Senior Product Specialist and Development Engineer.Ā Wil also held engineering positions at BIF, a Unit of General Signal, and Stone & Webster Engineering.
Wil holds an AS in Mechanical Power Engineering from Wentworth Institute, a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, and an MBA from Bryant College.
